Streets Magnum

In collaboration with JCDecaux, Spinifex Group developed an interactive face tracking application for Unilever. The application tracked a users face and allowed them to take virtual "bites" from an ice cream.

This project was developed in collaboration with Spinifex and JCDecaux to provide a first in Australia - an interactive billboard utilising advanced facial recognition for client Unilever. Members of the public were enticed to take virtual bites out of the new Magnum ice cream, and then would have the opportunity to upload their photo directly to Magnum's Facebook page using a unique-created QR code. The interaction time per person averaged 1:45 minutes, and the week-long outdoor campaign garnered over 1500 uploads.

This project was developed using the Cinder C++ framework.
